My name is Cavin Jones, and I am a cyber security professional. I graduated from The University of Akron in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Cyber Security. While I enjoy all ascpets of this field, I am most passionate in vulnerability management, understanding exploits, and education others to defend against threats. I am always looking to furthering my skills in the field and forming new professional connections.

About Me

I am currently working as a cyber security analyst with experience in vulnerability assessment, incident response, and penetration testing. I have participated in multiple internal and external penetration tests and incident response tabletop exercises. I am experienced with Rapid7 IVM to identify and assess vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure. I have experience with Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Bloodhound, and other offensive security tools. I am also proficient in PowerShell scripting and have experience with web application enumeration and penetration testing.

Hacking My Own Environment Project

I simulated 3 common cyber security attacks in a virtual Environment. This was a massive project that was created using GN3 and took over 150 hours to complete. I explain how I setup the networks and the methodology used in my hacking.
